Pixies continue to be full of surprises. I'm sure that most of you must have heard by now that Pixies have gone and done a Beyoncé, releasing a surprise EP without fanfare. The EP is creatively named - EP2, and is available for download here. Anyway, back to the song of the day - they've made this song from the record available to stream and I have been doing just that ever since finding out about it...
PIXIES - Blue Eyed Hexe
The video is pretty darn weird but the song is infectious. I'm sure that I will be walking around singing "HEXAHH, HEXAHH!!" for quite a while to come. Yes, I really like this song and despite it coming from a really short EP and not a full length, I think that it may even be among some of my favourite material that Pixies have put out to date. I'm definitely excited to see them live later this year.
